October 29th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I was still struggling with a cramp in my calf. I am assuming it was from Cize. Also, I am fighting a cold. I opted for completing just Cize this week and I think I will be dropping my second workout from now on. My body responded by dropping the weight I knew I could. I guess I’m just not cut out for two full workouts plus all the stepping. Oh well, I’ll live 🙂

October 22nd, 2016 Check In Day

This week my elliptical broke, I started walking in place instead. Unfortunately I started walking on the balls of my feet and my calves developed a pretty good cramp, for this reason I took a break from my Cize and T25 workouts and started walking like a normal person in place (Haha!). I was still able to lose some weight by sticking to my diet but I could have lost more (hopefully) had I been working out too. Here’s to next week!

October 15th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I had another week where my weight didn’t budge for 3 days. Since they made the 21df app available for Android this week I decided to use that to make sure I’m getting the right amount of carbs, protein and such. I opted to use the 21 Day Fix Extreme version and it had me adding an extra 2 protein servings. By the next day I had lost another half a pound, still holding steady. I assume my body is getting ready to make some big changes, or all the muscle building from T25 Gamma round is screwing it up. Either way this week I did good with the weight loss. This was my last week of Country Heat and Next Week I will be going through Cize again, modified calendar to get it done in 5 weeks instead of 8 with all those cizing it up days. I have 2 weeks left of Gamma round and then I’ll be doing P90. I am amazed at what I am able to do now! Pushups and me still don’t agree but now I can do more than I used to be able to do, baby steps!

This week is my daughters birthday so we went on Wednesday to the mall to get her a Build-A-Bear. I also ate a cheat meal while we were at the mall. This caused my weight to not do so well this week. I did not complete T25’s Speed 3.0 either day it was scheduled this week but I did complete all of the weight lifting days. I absolutely am loving Gamma Round! Tonight is Andria’s birthday party and then it’s back on track for weight loss!

October 1st, 2016 Check In Day

This week I really changed up my diet. I had not been paying attention to the fact that I should have been eating all fruit and carbs before 6pm. I decided to try that this week and see if it made a difference in my workouts. I also got back at doing doubles/triples. This was my last week for T25 Beta round. Next week I will be starting Gamma and I can’t wait to see what else Shawn T has for me!

September 24th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I had a really hard time getting through my T25 workouts. I decided I would give myself this week to drop those and start again on Monday. Technically since I do triple workouts it’s not too bad to drop one every once in a while (I hope!). I did continue to spend my time on the elliptical, which I use to make up for the fact that I work a desk job, and I also continued my Country Heat workouts. Overall, this week was really good but my weight loss definitely suffered from the lack of extra calorie burn. Back at it next week!

This week I was stuck at the same weight for a couple of days. I had to change up several things to figure out what was causing this issue. Apparently eating an extra carb is a bad idea for me. I backed up to what the 21 Day Fix diet is actually, also getting some more sleep and seem to be losing weight again.

September 10th, 2016 Check In Day

Well, I have been at this for 13 months now. I feel like I am finally getting into the lifestyle change part of this journey. I don’t really crave bad foods on a regular basis anymore. I know most of the time cravings are your body’s way of telling you that you are low in some nutrient so I guess I’m perfect! (haha) This month I am participating in Beachbody’s HealthBet, Beachbody is putting up 1 million dollars plus $5 more for every challenge pack that was sold between July and August. To win a part of the pot you have to log 5 Shakeology’s per week with pictures and at least 3 workouts in their app. So far I’m on track! I chose the Cafe Latte Flavor after having this during my 3 Day Refresh. The Shakeology came with a calendar for different combinations of ingredients to add and try, so far I am in love! Yesterday was mixed with caramel extract and sea salt, for real it was like Starbucks! This week I stuck with my diet, I had to modify some to fit in the Shakeology so I took out one of my juicing meals. Unfortunately hormones are causing some bloating this week so there was not as much weight loss as there could have been, since I measure everything I eat (except my chicken breast) I know I’m not overcalculating food calories so with a 800-1000 calorie deficit I know there should have been more weight loss but, it should fall off sometime in the next couple of days. I also had to add more water in this week, apparently as you get used to exercising your body becomes more effective at sweating and then you need to add more water. Based on the concept of 1/2 your weight in ounces of water I weigh 448 pounds, more than double my actual weight, but when you factor in 70 minutes on the elliptical, 30-45 minutes of Cize, 25 minutes of T25, I sweat a lot!

September 9th, 2016 Check In Day

I literally gained 7 pounds over the course of my birthday last weekend. I made sure to stick to the plan this week and I am going to be switching to almost no cheat meals except for special occasions (not just a weekend). Today I plan on switching up my food and doing a taco salad but no shell, replacing sour cream with greek yogurt, and salsa instead of taco seasoning (too much salt). This week I made it into the Beta round of T25. I have really been enjoying this program! I have decided to stick with the modifier for the time being since my knees are still not doing well after my Insanity injury. The modifier is still very difficult she just offers a low impact alternative. This week was mostly about losing the birthday weight but I did lose some weight this week!

August 20th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I did well with my workouts. I added my doubles back in which I really enjoyed. Also, I stuck to my diet most days. My fatal flaw and most likely the reason I did not lose any weight this week is because I ate pizza on Wednesday. This was a dumb idea. If I want to make it to my goals I need to stop sabotaging myself and just stick with the plan. It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change, and until I get where I want to go I need to stick with it as closely as possible. Next weekend is my birthday so I know I’ll be indulging, but it’s only one weekend and then back at the grind!
