22 Minute Hard Corps Round 1 Day 32

We did Cardio 3 and Core 2 today. I am having an energy levels issue this week due to hormones but I did as much as my body would allow and marched in place when the energy ran out. I was able to complete more of Core 2 today than the last time I did it. My abs are on fire! I guarantee my legs will be on fire tomorrow after those drop lunges.

22 Minute Hard Corps Round 1 Day 31

We did Resistance 3 today. I still have a hard time with puddle jumpers, the jumping lunges and mountain squats are just evil. I alternated between 5 pound and 8 pound weights depending on what I was doing. I was able to hold onto the weight the whole time during the mountain squats today. I did have to limit my jumping lunges and just do the shoulder press to avoid knee injury. I am glad this one challenges me so much because I feel like I have someone to progress to.

22 Minute Hard Corps Round 1 Day 29

Today was Resistance 2. I was able to do everything with 8 pound weights except for the jump squats. I still seem to be having issues with the jump squats. I was able to do about five at a time and then rest for about five but other than that I was able to do the rest of the work out just fine. I am a hot sweaty mess. Still loving this program.

22 Minute Hard Corps Round 1 Day 27

Today was Special Ops: Cardio and Core 1. My elbows are really bruised from plank rolls 2 days ago and then California Rolls yesterday so o skipped the Plank Rolls during today's workout. I also got in a 1.77 mile walk after my workouts to get more steps in. My legs are super sore from this week so I feel like with less sore legs I could have done more of the workout but it was definitely a challenge!

22 Minute Hard Corps Round 1 Day 26

Today was Special Ops: Resistance. First were flange push-ups which I did have to modify. Then I was able to do the real move for all the other moves until you got to the California rolls. With the California rolls I was only able to do about half of them because my elbows ended up getting bruised. I also don't have a pull-up bar so I have to modify anything with the pull-up bar. I was able to do the High low boats about half not modified and half modified. I'm very impressed with how my strength seems to be improving, especially in my core. I'm almost done with week for I can't wait to see how the next four weeks improve.

The Transform App Weight Loss Level 2 Day 47

Today was a chipper workout. It was 30 burpees, I did about 15 and then switched to the alternate of squat thrusts, then 40 hollow rocks, and 50 back lunges on each leg. I always break these up into more manageable numbers like 5, or 10 until I finish the whole thing. That’s the way these chippers are supposed to be, chip away at the large number until it is all done. Overall it was a challenging workout and my abs and legs are going to be sore!

22 Minute Hard Corps Round 1 Day 25

Today was the first day for Cardio 3. I also did Core 1. There several moves during this one that I definitely had to do some walking in place for. Including the lunges towards the end. Otherwise I really liked the spin burpees and the scissor fly’s. Every time I do Core 1 it gets easier. I think I do Core 2 for the first time later this week. It will be interesting to see how that one is compared to Core 1 and Special Ops: Core. Tony Horton definitely keeps you guessing with all of these different moves. Not going to lie, my legs are still sore from yesterday’s squat thrusts where I completed all of them with the 8 pound dumbbells. Stronger every day right?
