The Transform App Weight Loss Level 2 Day 33

Today was a Chipper workout. Which basically means, you’ll be doing a lot of reps of some move/s that Chris and Heidi Powell think might possibly kill you. Today was: 125 Jumping Jacks, 100 Bridge Ups (oh my glutes), and 75 Sit-Ups.

My key to getting these done is not getting it all done at one time. I always break it up into sections. Do I think I can do 125 jumping jacks at once? No. My feet hurt after a few but, I can do about 25 at a time without problems. So I do my 25 and then rest for a couple of seconds before knocking out the next 25. It’s all about chipping away at the huge quantity until it all gets done. I have even done Chippers before where I would do some of one exercise and then do another for a little bit to give whatever muscle group a rest. Today I opted for continuing with one move until it got knocked out.

My favorite thing about these Transform App workouts is they are never super long. They usually take from 10-30 minutes and then I can go about the rest of my day. On the weight loss cycle you do these strength workouts 3 times a week and cardio 6 days a week. In level 1, the cardio started around 10 minutes and you worked up to about 30 minutes by the end of the 12 weeks. In level 2 picked up right where you left off with about 35 minutes of cardio. I don’t follow the intervals laid out since I do my Beachbody workouts for these “Accelerators” but, I have done it once before with interval running. I learned, I’m definitely not a runner.

Overall, I feel this app has changed my fitness journey. I love that it gradually progresses as your fitness level increases, the meal plan adjusts for you if you hit a plateau, and it’s not super far from the container meal prep system from Beachbody. I plan on continuing this for a long, long time.
