Tough Day

Yesterday’s workout was tough, I was just having a hard day for getting into a workout. I am hoping today will be better although, I did have to get up early today. Otherwise it was a good day for diet. I am still trying to work off the weight gained from alcohol and from the food we ate at the 5k. We ended up eating at a taco truck. The food was delicious but so full of carbs it has taken a while to get off. I am committed to this thing!
Until Next Time.

Drinking is Stupid

Well, last week I was able to get in 4 days of workouts without any issues. Then Thursday night we went out drinking and I drank way too much without enough water. The next morning I was up 2 pounds from the day before. Also, this was AFTER I had thrown up most of what I had eaten. So Friday I was pretty dehydrated so I did not work out but I stuck to my diet. Saturday I ended up doing my TurboFire and then the 5k so I got a total of 6 workouts in last week which was my goal. At the 5k there were not healthy choices for food so we ended up with mexican food, which is high in carbs. So yesterday I was back on my diet again. Today I will pick up workouts. I am officially in the “Advanced” section of the TurboFire schedule. I can’t wait to finish and get Cize!

Goals

Since taking 6 weeks off I have been having trouble getting back into the swing of things.
Last week my goal was to get 3 days of workouts in. I was able to hit this 3 days in a row and then took the last day off to recover for an extra day. My legs were very sore after all the squats in TurboFire.
This week my goal is 6 days. I will workout all 6 days like I am supposed to. Saturday I will be doing a 5k instead of my TurboFire workouts but it will still be an awesome workout.
I am looking into getting a mini eliptical so all the time I spend sitting on the couch while my daughter is awake I could be getting extra steps in. It is so hard to go on a walk outside with a 1 year old. She doesn’t want to sit still in a stroller for extended periods of time. Plus, when she is awake half of the time I am doing my job on and off throughout the day.
Well, on to reaching my goals and losing more weight!

April 15th, 2016 Check In Day

Okay, so I slacked on my workouts at the beginning of the week but Wednesday I did a HIIT and yesterday I completed half of a Fire workout. I went until I kept stopping to catch my breath. Apparently when you take any amount of time off it is almost like starting at square one. I definitely feel like that. This week’s stats weren’t awesome but I feel like my muscles are sore so I am probably just burning fat and building my muscles back up.

Weight Loss: 0.2

Body Fat Loss: 0.7

Inches Lost: .5

This is the biggest body fat loss I think ever in one week. I have been doing really well for sticking to my diet with only one cheat meal. I will keep on moving and keep on trucking for next week!

April 8th, 2016 Check In Day

This week was not so good for the workouts. I worked out on Monday and then was very sore for the next couple of days. I did however stick to my diet which definitely showed in my numbers for the week. I did really well this week!

Weight Lost: 3.8 pounds

Inches Lost: 0.75

BMI Lost: 0.06

The only differences I made this week were small, I had a cheat meal but I only let myself eat poorly for the one meal! That has seemed to make a huge difference in how I am able to control my weight loss. In the past I have done cheat days and I end up gaining several pounds by the next day and spend the entire week trying to work off what I gained on my cheat day. Also, I know a lot of people this is a bad idea, but to keep myself on track I weight myself every day. Not in an obsessive way, just in a making sure that I didn’t do anything stupid the day before. It also helps me keep myself on track. I recommend once weekly weigh ins if you are prone to obsessive tendencies.

Until Next Time.

April 1st, 2016 Check In Day

Okay, so this was not a good week for weight loss. I started off Saturday by eating like crap, and continued that eating like crap through Easter. I spent all week trying to lose what I had gained over the weekend. Then, our anniversary was yesterday so I gained from that as well. Also, I got sick this week so pretty much a bad week overall. The results are:

Weight Gained: 2 pounds

Inches Gained: 1

Body Fat Percentage: .7 Gained

BMI: .3 gained

Onward to a better week next week! After Sunday I did pretty well to stick to my diet. I wasn’t able to complete some of the workouts and skipped a couple days so this week the goal is to not skip any even though I’m sick and to stick to my diet!

Swinging Again

You wouldn’t think that it would be hard to get back into the swing of things after a break!
Two weeks ago I started working out again, because it had been so long I ended up having to take a couple of days off to keep from being so sore!
Last week I did well at the beginning and then crapped out at the end for both diet and exercise. I have been trying to do better!
Because yesterday was a holiday it caused me to gain quite a bit of weight, I know this will fall off as I follow my diet again. I cannot wait to see my results when I focus on what I am supposed to do. Once I finish the TurboFire program in June I will be buying Cize to start that. I watched part of the demo video and it looked like something I will really enjoy doing.
My coaches group is doing a buddy system this month which really seems to be helping as far as accountability. My huge problem is that when I fall off the wagon I feel incredibly guilty about it and it causes almost a spiral into bad behavior, she helps me not feel so guilty about everything. I am hoping for a wonderful month!
Until Next Time.

March 25th, 2016 Check In Day

Okay, so I stupidly ate like crap last weekend which caused me to spend most of the week trying to lose the weight I had gained. Luckily I have been doing well other than a brief encounter with Chinese food last night. It was my husbands night off so whatever. Anyways, I am up 1.2 pounds since last week and I did lose .5 inches! I have been doing well with the workouts. I did have to stop partway through one because it was too much considering it had been 6 weeks since I had worked out last. I am doing well with the HIIT workouts but I have issues with the long cardio workouts. Anyways, otherwise I feel like I am doing great!

Until Next Time.

March 18th, 2016 Check In Day

Okay, I started back working out this week. Monday I didn’t do anything but unpack from our trip. Tuesday I walked around our block twice. And TurboFire the last 2 days. I am unable to complete the workout due to being so out of shape. I made it 25 minutes yesterday and had to stop. I am VERY sore! However, I have been back on my diet and here are the results since my last update on February 26th.

Weight Lost: 5.8 Pounds

Inches: Gained 3.25

Overall, I know I gained inches because of my muscle tone starting to go away, I am back into working out and hopefully not sick in the near future. It had been about 6 weeks since I had been able to do anything other than walk. So, here’s to starting over?

Missouri

Well, the trip to and from Missouri went well. We didn’t stop to walk around as much as we probably should have but that’s okay.
On the second day we were able to unload everything, I helped unloading boxes and stacking them and directing in the stacking. Later on in the day we were able to go on a hike around the property. The area it is located in is very hilly and was very muddy, I could definitely tell that my legs were getting a workout. I also hit over 10,000 steps!
Unfortunately, on day 2 I did not bring my cooler of food with me so I was stuck eating what everyone else was eating, not so healthy. On day 3 driving home I also did not stick to my diet. This all caused me to gain quite a bit of weight. Now I am back on my diet and have already dropped 2 pounds in 2 days! I am hoping to continue this quick weight loss. I have a dietbet to weigh in for at the end of the week and I need to be down another 4 pounds. Here’s to sticking to our diets!
Until Next Time
