Well, I thought I was going to workout yesterday and then right before I went to start I started coughing. Not a good way to go into a workout.
I am still being really good about sticking to my diet. I seem to be losing weight as well. My husband is off today so we are going to have a cheat meal. This go around rather than having cheat days I allow myself cheat meals where I can cheat for one meal and then back to eating good. This method has seemed to work well for me this time around. The problem I have always had is I will do really good during the week, lose quite a bit of week and then cheat day comes around and I gain like 5 pounds and spend the whole week trying to work off the weight I gained on my cheat day. There is not a whole lot of damage I can do in one meal so usually I might gain a pound or two and once it all digests I am back to normal.
I am so glad that I am able to do this on my own. I do not subscribe to the theory that you cannot lose weight on your own, I think it’s a matter of enough determination and the right diet and exercise plan for you. I feel that a lot of people give up because they are not seeing fast enough results. I guess most people don’t realize that even with perfect working out and dieting we can only expect about 1-2 pounds a week, not The Biggest Loser type numbers but if you were to stay consistent that’s 104 pounds in only a year!
For now, I am going to continue doing what I know how to do and hope that I get better soon. Next week I am getting my wisdom teeth out so I will be spending a week eating rice pudding and trying not to die.
Until next time.
