New year, new plan?

I am hoping to pick back up with the daily blogging. It may not be pretty, in fact it will probably be super boring but it gives me something to do at the end of the night.

Most of these will probably end up in the “private journal” category but, it is what it is.

Today was my first day back on track after months of not working out and not eating completely on plan. We had a lot of fun making cookies and enjoying ourselves with family but it’s time to lose the weight I’ve gained in the last 2 months.

It’s time to find a way to unload my thoughts.

It’s time to find a way to create again.

Happy 2021! It’s bound to be better than 2020 right?

January 4th, 2021

New year, new start. After a long time of not working out and not eating completely on plan from Thanksgiving to New Years, today was my first day back on track.

My body will probably take a couple of days to get used to healthy food again but it feels good to be back in the swing of things.

I am really hoping to finally be able to hit my goal weight this year so I can get my tattoo.

Week 1, 2021

New year, new chance to pay off debt.

As I am sure everyone can attest, paying off debt while buying Christmas presents is impossible!

We also took a week long trip to Florida so there were costs associated with that.

We had some more expenses when we got home to prepare the garden for a new year and all that jazz.

Now it’s time to see what we can get done this year.

We are very excited to see what we can do in the next 2 years, as we hope to be moving at the end of 2022!

2021…

2020 ended well. We left on Christmas Day to travel to Florida for a week. My husband’s grandfather passed away a couple of months ago so we did the funeral right after Christmas. We stayed through New Years and had a good time with family, some we had never met before.

2021 starts a new year of goals. From Thanksgiving until yesterday, my diet was definitely not what it should have been. I am back on track today and will finally be working out again, after several months off.

I look forward to this new year to see what will happen. Last year was difficult for all and we were very fortunate during this time.

Here’s to a new year to see what can happen!

2021 Here We Come!

New year, time for some new getting serious goals.

We were traveling over Christmas and New Years so today is the first day I had the opportunity to get back on track.

Yesterday was get groceries so I can meal prep and today started eating healthy and working out again.

I will be doing my workouts at night. Still following the Transform App. I am starting Cross Training at phase 1 again since it’s been so long since I worked out. I will be following custom macros.

I gained quite a bit from Thanksgiving to yesterday so I should be dropping weight fairly quickly here at the beginning.

I will be picking back up with my daily check ins and will resume posting my meals on social media, even if they are SUPER repetitive.

Here’s to a new year, a new chance to FINALLY hit my goal weight, and a new chance to get my fitness under control.

I am DONE letting other people’s opinions control me. Here’s to a new year to hit those goals!

Time and Time Again

Time has been going. My 30th birthday passed. And now we’re just moving forward in life.

My weight loss has stalled slightly, the scale has moved some for the last couple of week but I’m going to try no reset days for the next 2 weeks, before my sister’s wedding and see what happens.

We are 2 weeks out from my sister getting married to her better half. I went and had her cut my hair and ran through her makeup for the event. We will mostly be doing our own hair, makeup, and nails for the event to save money.

I also picked up some motion sickness bracelets for my daughter. She has gotten car sick the last couple of long trips we took so we are hoping this combined with Dramamine will help everything. It’s about a 9 hour drive to the location of the wedding so we’ll be in the car a long time.

Here’s to the end of the year and hopefully good things to come!

At Home Body Sculpting Level 1 Week 2

I decided to switch things up again. I changed to the at home body sculpting program and I am working with a buddy to help keep me accountable.

Week 2 I am down 1.6 pounds for the week. I will be taking out reset days for the next couple of weeks to see if this helps my progress. This was the first week with a good loss in a while so I want to see if I can keep it up.

We have 2 weeks until we will be out of town for the weekend, I plan on not counting anything over that weekend and want to do the best I can for the next 2 weeks.

I have been 100% during the week and a little sketchy on the weekends, so I am hoping dialing in the planning a little will help things along.

At the end of the day, I am really hoping to be at my goal weight by the end of the year and eating healthy extra days never killed anyone.

Cross Training Level 1 Week 10

Well, this week did not go as expected. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for several weeks. Granted, some of those were my fault for going overboard on reset day or extra cheats during the week but, for the last 2 weeks I have been on track and haven’t been losing as quickly as I would like.

Starting this week I am going to start on another nutrition plan and follow it for a couple of months and see how it goes. It’s been a long time of me in a deficit, occasionally taking reset weeks or whatever but, for the most part it’s been deficit for 5 years.

I passed my 5 year mark at the beginning of the month. Granted, I am still not at my goal weight but, the sheer fact I have been able to keep off 70+ pounds for 5 years is amazing.

I was not the typical yo-yo dieter, I didn’t even really diet prior to 5 years ago. And 5 years ago I didn’t want to diet, I wanted to completely change my life. I wanted to get away from being pre-diabetic and having borderline blood pressure. I wanted to get healthy again. And I especially didn’t care how long it took me to get there.

I have enjoyed life along the way but I am super proud of where I am.

Now I just need to get back on the 100% workout train. My workouts have been spotty but nutrition has been followed so, in theory I should be losing. We’ll see what happens over the next couple of months!
