Dance Phase 1 Week 7

This week I knew I was going to gain weight after essentially taking a maintenance week. It was good to have the increase in calories but as expected I did gain weight. The goal here is to take a maintenance week followed by 2 weight loss weeks and ideally the trend will be down over time. We’ll follow this pattern for a couple of months and see what happens.

I had started doing something similar at the end of last year and it seemed to do my body some good. After nearly 5 years of losing weight and being in a deficit (or not) my body is tired of the constant deficit. I want this to be the year I am done so I am doing what I think will work best.

More importantly, I am making sure to stay at or under my calories EVERY DAY so that I know I am doing what I am supposed to.

This week I gained 2 pounds, ideally next week I lose that and some but we’ll see what happens!
