July 9th, 2016 Weigh In Day

This week we had a holiday, July 4th is a great time to barbecue with family and friends, I made sure to enjoy myself but not go completely overboard. I also made cupcakes and a cake for a friends birthday party, not eating everything was hard but I did have to taste everything just to make sure the recipe was any good. Otherwise I had a great week! I won a juicer during a 6 month Transformer DietBet and started using it this week. I have loved juicing and have started juicing for most of my fruit and vegetable intake.

I also had a great week for sticking to my plan and workouts. I really love doing Cize as I enter week 4 the dances keep getting harder and harder! I have to say a special shout out to my mom. She started losing weight last year after going on a mission trip and not being able to play soccer with the kids like she wanted. She started a couple of months before me and also started out smaller than me. As she started losing the weight she started giving me all her clothes. Now, my mom started having kids younger so although I am 25 and my sister 24 my mom is only 48 and dresses closer to our age which she totally rocks! So, I have all these awesome age appropriate cute clothes that I get to wear as I keep dropping the weight. I am so excited to be rocking the 16’s instead of the 22’s I probably should have been wearing and I can’t wait to keep dropping the weight!

July 2nd, 2016 Check In Day

Well, I ate WAY too much last weekend and caused myself to gain a TON of weight. I spent all week trying to lose the weight I had gained over the weekend. Note to self, do not eat like a cow on your “cheat” days. Also, I was making cupcakes for a birthday party and had to sample along the way to make sure it didn’t taste bad, very small amounts I might add. Anyways, I did lose some inches so I will consider this week a wash and get back up for next week!

June 25th, 2016 Check In Day

Well, I skipped last week. I decided the week after VBS and especially after my knee injury with Insanity that I would take a break to let everything heal. This week I started Cize. VERY low impact on my knees which is awesome. Also, it is so fun I actually looked forward to working out. Last Saturday I had gained 3.8 pounds for the week. This week I was able to lose most of that and I am back on track to go even further than before!

June 11th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I injured my knee on Monday so I have been taking it easy the last couple of days. I have still been doing my elliptical steps. Also, I have been working VBS every night so I have been super exhausted. I am ready to get back into a routine. I will rest my knee until Monday and then back into Insanity I will be. My stats this week were really good! I made sure to bring my food every day to VBS so I was not eating the chips and cookies that were available. I did eat a couple pieces of cheese though!

June 4th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I did okay for my workouts. I did too much cheating over last weekend and caused a weight gain for this week. I got back on track Monday and have managed to lose most of what I had gained over the weekend. I still have some work to do but I have been able to maintain my 20 pound weight loss. This week we have VBS so I will be trying to juggle my diet and exercise with a very packed schedule. Hopefully this goes well!

May 28th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I realized I was getting bored with my TurboFire workouts, I was dreading working out which I hadn’t had that issue of before so, I decided to change and start doing Insanity. Now, I am not able to complete it at the same pace/number of reps that the people on the video do but, I do what I can and then rest so as to not kill myself. I am really enjoying it and I can tell that this program is really hard. I have also been making sure to spend my time on the elliptical every day. Last week I forgot to do it on Saturday so I am going to make sure that I remember this week. We also lost a pet this week and rather than eating a ton I just jumped on the elliptical. This week’s results were really good for weight lost!

This week I enter week 2 of my Insanity schedule, I’ll be pushing it as hard as I can without injury/death! Let’s hope for better numbers next week!

May 20th, 2016 Check In Day

This week I have been making sure to get in my 10,000 steps on the elliptical. It has been going really well. The first several days I was not stretching when I would get off which led to some calf cramping, so the last couple of days I have been making sure to stretch my hamstrings after every time. I also increased to 10 straight minutes on it instead of 2 on and 2 off. I can usually burn between 700 and 800 calories just doing that a day.

This Week’s Stats Are:

And I finally hit 20 pounds!

March 13th, Check In Day!

So this week I got a mini elliptical. It came in on Tuesday and since then I have been making sure to get in my 10,000 steps! I will do 10 minutes each hour on the elliptical doing 2 on 2 off. This has definitely helped me in the weight loss department this week. Stats were pretty good this week! I am just about to break the 20 pound mark!

My Dietbet this week has a challenge to complete 33,000 steps over the course of the weekend. This will be the first one I have tried to hit. I can’t wait!

May 6th, 2016 Check In Day

Okay, I made a couple of mistakes this week we will avoid repeating again. Jonathan’s birthday was last weekend. So, rather than eating one cheat meal I ended up with two whole days of pretty much crap eating and tons of carbs. Also, I didn’t “workout” for 3 days, I did clean my house but that is nowhere near as intense at TurboFire. Due to this there was a weight gain this week but I did still stick to my workouts this week and have been dropping it back off pretty quickly.

Inches Lost: 1 Inch

Body Fat Gained: .4% Body Fat

I am already 4 for 4 on my workouts this week, 2 more to go. This is Mother’s Day weekend so I will be eating 2 cheat meals. The first one we are doing barbecue, all that sauce has a TON of sodium. There will also be a TON of carbs there, my solution, eat only the meat. The second meal we are doing is going to be a Chinese buffet. I think if I stick to sushi and salad and limit to only one plate I should be okay.

April 29th, 2016 Check In Day

I did not check in last week. At least I didn’t do any measurements. So, in the last 2 weeks here are my stats, except for weight because I did do that last week.

Weight Lost: 2 pound

Inches Lost: .75 Inches

Body Fat Lost: .5

Yesterday I did not do my workout because we are trying to get the house cleaned for hubby’s birthday. I definitely do not want to pull out my back like I usually do while cleaning so I am taking it easy with lots of breaks to insure no injury. Today we will finish the cleaning and then I should be back to working out on Monday!
